Research Description
I completed my Ph.D. in Pharmacy at Sahmyoook University, Seoul, South Korea in 2019. My doctoral research focused on examining the antidepressants effects of methoxetamine, a ketamine derivative, in rodents and exploring its underlying mechanisms. I was also involved in other research geared toward identifying potential genetic factors of ADHD and assessing abuse potential of new psychoactive substances. In the Gould Lab, my research is focused on examining and understanding the effects of ketamine and (2R,6R)-HNK on the subtypes of anhedonia using a range of techniques, including behavioral assays, electrophysiology, and optogenetics.
